Rat Dissection App
The iPad lab is being used this week in Perry DelRossi's Biology classes to do an interactive rat dissection. Normally the honors classes would just dissect live rats, but this year they are able to use the iPads and the rat dissection app to compliment their dissection lesson. They are using the app as a resource with their live dissection. Mr. DelRossi's other Biology classes are using the app to do the actual dissection. He hopes that he can use the app in the future to take the place of the actual live rat dissection. This not only utilizes technology, but it will result in saving the school district several thousands of dollars in the cost of the rats.

Nice Chris, super interested in the rat dissection app, I will check it out. Have you posted a video to TeacherTube for this? It sounds like the perfect venue to show a live rat dissection simultaneously with the ipad app. I know I would tune in to see it. Kellie
